When three mediums told him that he would write such a book Arthur was rather sceptical  -  until he was given the title of The Path.    A few weeks later he started to type, at top speed, the first chapter, and he read this with fascination.  It was an assessment, by an ethereal committee, of the possibilities of survival for our predecessors in the year 5mBC.  As chapter followed chapter, he learned of how they overcame difficulties, how they benefited from their aggressive nature and the ability to mate throughout the year, how they improved their diet and how curiosity led them from the forests to explore the open lands and discover fire, how to make new weapons and then to capture and master the horse.   The migrations of the American Indians and stories of the Yeti and the Trolls lead up to an assessment of the human race today.
