THE HAUNTED SHOP
In the town of Orillia, Ontario, Canada there stands a 19th century building that is now a shop selling quality blinds and beds. The owner is a young man named John who has experienced a series of inexplicable paranormal incidents. His keys and various other objects have vanished and reappeared in places they could not have been left in. Cold blasts of air have burst through the rooms and strange scratching noises have been heard coming from unoccupied areas. John had also heard a discarnate voice calling out 'GO AWAY'. In September 2004 PsychicWorld.net sent John G. Sutton to investigate. This is a brief summary of his report which was constructed through psychic insight:
1. The premises have a residual energy that is negative. This is located at the conjunction of the stairway that adjoins the adjacent residential unit and can be identified by a cold spot.
2. There was a man who once lived in this shop and he suffered during his later years from some serious physical debility subsequently passing to spirit within the premises. This spirit visits the building and is drawn there by the memory of the pain suffered as though it were seeking an answer. The trade of tailoring or the sale and alteration of clothing was practiced within the building.
3. The spirit of the man is not malevolent but likes to play practical jokes on the owner as a form of interaction expressing his displeasure that his former home is being occupied by a stranger.
4. Through Automatic Writing I was told that the spirit can be seen through a mirror and that he will show himself but there is no need to be afraid of him.
When John G. Sutton explained his findings to the owner he was advised that the building had once been occupied by a man called Charles. He had died in one of the rooms there close to the area identified as being the centre of negative energy.
