Eleanor Fisher
Throughout her life, even as a young girl, Eleanor Fisher believed she was somehow different from others. Being an only child her playmates were imaginary ones, yet to Eleanor they were as real as anyone else. It was only as an adult that she realised she could 'see' spirit people and that her childhood friends had been from the next world.
The first realisation that she had a mission came to her during the extensive period of education that Eleanor undertook. She seemed capable of assimilating knowledge at a rate that both surprised and alarmed her tutors. This capacity for learning lead the young Eleanor to first one University degree and then others, all passed with the highest honours. She was not only a star pupil but also an exceptionally gifted communicator, yet Eleanor still felt apart from her classmates. Like many others before her this, let's call it alienation, led on to a kind of depression, after all each one of us does have a need to be loved, to be a part of our peer group
Realising that she was, to say the least, out of the ordinary, Eleanor accepted an invitation to undergo a series of Intelligence tests, the results astounded even her. She was assessed time after time, in test after test, as being in the top 0.1% of measured human intelligence in the world. In short Eleanor Fisher was officially a genius of the top rank.
Having been formally assessed Eleanor was invited to join the extremely prestigious Promethius Society. This society, dedicated to the promotion and understanding of exceptionally gifted people, requires its members to have a tested and verified I.Q in excess of 168. Eleanor passed the tests with flying colours and became a member of the Promethius Society.
Yet life as a gifted person is never ever easy, in fact it is often incredibly difficult for a gifted individual to adapt to a world that functions at a far lower level. Teachers expect their pupils to learn from them at a specific rate, how strange it must have seemed to them to have a student like Eleanor was, making quantum leaps on subject after subject with an alacrity which quickly left even the teachers behind.
There is a tendency amongst very gifted young people to fail in the education system. They do so mainly because what they are being taught is so boringly obvious. Eleanor automatically knew that which it took members of her class months to learn. She was fortunate, her genius was discovered, others with similar gifts have been less fortunate, the Promethius Society is there to offer such people help.
It was during her mid teens that Eleanor visited a museun of Human Biology and saw there a life size glass and plastic model of a human body. She saw all the major organs, the lungs, the liver, the kidneys, the heart, but she did not see the soul. Where she wondered is the soul in a human being. Then she realised, the human body is nothing more than a shell, a kind of sophisticated vehicle and the soul or spirit occupies this much like a driver in a car. No soul or spirit and the body is lifeless it will not move, just like a motor car without a driver.
Having gained this insight Eleanor knew what she had to do. She had to help mankind understand the true nature of their existence in human form. To do this she required knowledge, with her vast capacity for learning she achieved this by her mid twenties. With numerous degrees and a finely tuned brain Eleanor set out on her mission in life. She became a Spiritual Healer and a teacher with her own centre.
Based in Lynn, in the state of Massatchuese USA, Eleanor founded a Spiritual Healing commune open to all who are in need of help. Yet Eleanor offers her clients far more than just physical healing, she heals their souls.
So many in this life have lost their way, lost sight of the beauty that is here for everyone and everything on God's good earth. Eleanor, using her personal knowledge and developed spiritual gifts, reaches in to the minds of those who seek her help and heals their life force, their spirit, their soul.
Yet even the stongest are sometimes afflicted with physical illness, it is God's will no doubt. Perhaps to teach a necessary lesson that we as incarnated souls need to learn. For whatever reason in 1992 Eleanor Fisher developed a tumor on her brain.
Surgery was essential, the growth was of life threatening intensity and within hours of diagnosis Eleanor was in the operating theatre. As she slipped out of consciousness she drifted upwards and out of her body which could clearly see on the operating table. Her long dead parents were waiting to greet her as she began to cross between this world and the next. Eleanor held them in her arms and felt enveloped in their love, ' Go back' she heard them say 'go back Eleanor you have work to do..it is not your time yet..go back'.
When the surgeon awoke Eleanor from the depths of her drug induced sleep she smiled, instantly aware that she was changed, healed, whole again. Only there was something else, now she knew her work was worthwhile, probably beyond her knowing.
Within a matter od days she was almost fully recovered, apart from the obvious scar tissue, Eleanor was back, back from the very brink of death and even more determined to continue her lifes work.
Today Eleanor Fisher's Spiritual Healing Centre offers help and understanding to hundreds of Americans every month. She is certain her out of body experience enhanced her healing powers, one thing it certainly did do was to reinforce Eleanor's firm belief in the survival of the soul or spirit after physical death.
Her mission in life continues and is probably best stated as 'heal the spirit, heal the soul, heal the body'. For as Eleanor knows, even the healthiest body is just an empty shell without a soul/spirit incarnated within.
