LUCKY CHARMS
Amulets and other charms are supposed to ward off evil and bring good luck. There are many kinds of amulets and charms, such as the 'lucky' rabbit's foot. The question is, do they work? If they do work, then how do they work?
Perhaps you know of someone who will not leave home or set about a given task unless they have their lucky charm with them. Here is an example for you to consider. This lady bought a 'lucky' doll and made a wish that came true.
EXAMPLE:
In the city of Manchester UK there lives a young lady we shall call Cindy. Cindy is a secretary in a large office and has many friends there. However, working within the office was a lady that Cindy did not like at all. They were quite bitter enemies and Cindy was thinking of leaving her job as the continuous arguing was making her feel ill. She eventually decided to put off making a final decision until after her planned summer holiday.
In July Cindy, seeking adventure, flew to the Gambia with a few friends. Once there she was persuaded to go on a day trip out into the jungle, they called it a mini-safari. Some forty or so miles into the wilderness Cindy's group were taken to a native village where they were invited to buy some of the local art and craft goods. Cindy saw a little black polished wooden doll. The African native told her that this was a lucky charm doll. Thinking she could do with a bit of luck Cindy bought it.
Weeks later, back home at her house in Manchester, Cindy sat alone crying. She had just had the very worst day at her place of work ever. The lady she disliked had been very rude to her and it seemed that Cindy now had no choice, she would have to resign. As she sat thinking these thoughts her eyes focussed on the little wooden doll she had brought back from the Gambia. Cindy reached out and picked it up, holding it gently in her hand. In her mind she held the image of her hated work colleague and then Cindy made a wish that she would get out of her life. Then she placed the little doll in her handbag thinking to take it to work for good luck.
The next morning at work Cindy was shocked to learn that the lady who had been her enemy had been badly injured in a car crash. According to the office gossip the lady had smashed into a parked lorry and her car was a total write-off. Cindy wondered if the African doll had anything to do with this and opened her handbag to look at it. Strangely the doll's expression seemed to have changed. Now the face of the black wooden object seemed to be smiling.

The question is, did Cindy's mind generate negative energy that became focussed through the doll? Or was there some mysterious African witchdoctor magic power within the object?
