Tonge hall

Back--Home

In the news recently in the Manchester area of the UK has been the haunting of one of the region's oldest buildings. This rather spooky looking building is Tonge Hall, located in Middleton on the northern outskirts of Manchester. It is owned by Mr Norman Wolstencroft and his wife Rosemary. They told the local press that their historic home has unlikely squatters, they are in fact ghosts!

The haunting of Tonge Hall should come as no surprise to Mr Wolstencroft, the building dates back to the 16th Century and stands on the site of an even older mansion house. The ghosts are reported to have attempted to push one psychic investigator down a flight of stairs. There are, according to a team of Paranormal Investigators from the USA, four ghost residents in Tonge Hall. Local Police Detective Inspector Mr Martin Sutton says 'the only spirits I have encountered in Tonge Hall have been from a bottle'. Our PsychicWorld.net reporter is pleased to note that ghosts or no ghosts the police have matters in hand, as usual.
