Located in the bay of San Francisco 'The Rock' as Alcatraz jail is known as one of America's most infamous prison. It held such notorious criminals as Al Capone and 'Machine Gun' Kelly. Today it is a tourist attraction but it is said to be haunted by the horrible sounds of screaming from the ghosts of those who lived and died there.
The most haunted area is 'D' block where inmates were locked in solitary confinement as punishment. Al Capone spent time in these cold and frightening cells.
If you visit 'The Rock' pause for a brief moment at cell 14 'D' and see if you can hear the long ago screams of those who suffered within its confines.
