ABOUT BERYL

INTERNATIONAL REIKI MASTER/TEACHER

Beryl is a Reiki Master/Teacher, N.L.P. (Neuro-Linguistic Programmin) Practitioner. Introduced to Reiki in 1991 by American Reiki Master Carrlyn Clay, Beryl was particularly drawn to Reiki for personal transformational and healing qualities it offered her. She has not been disappointed. After two years of organising Reiki training and practitioner exchanges, Beryl decided to undertake a 12 month apprenticeship in the traditional Usui system of natural healing. This led to her initiation as a Master in January 1995.

Based at the Silverdale Centre in Ashton-under-Lyne in the Greater Manchester area of the U.K. she travels extensively leading regular Reiki training. Beryl is committed to raising awareness of the benefits of Complimentary Therapies and was the founder of the Buxton Healing Arts Exhibition. In 1999 Beryl played a key role in introducing Reiki into the U.K's National Health System via the local hospital service. She worked alongside a team of McMillan nurses and Social Services administration staff helping to set up a 'Drop In Centre' where she gave Reiki treatments and advice to cancer patients and their carers. This organisation is still only in its infancy but is proving to be a great success.
